«
My
Platform«
I stand for the following:
-
Pro-Life
-
Second Amendment
rights of all law-abiding citizens to own and carry guns
-
Continued reduction in taxes
-
Our academic future by
focusing on tech-prep educational programs in our schools.
Preparing the future workers and entrepreneurs should be a
priority. Too many of our 18-35 year olds are leaving Ohio for
more lucrative opportunities outside of the state
-
Keeping our 18-35 years olds in Ohio by
providing a positive climate for businesses that will build up the
tax revenue base and help provide funding for our schools and
our rising health care costs
-
Refocusing concerns of eminent domain
situations. Time is needed to
properly investigate the true intent of this practice. Too many
people, throughout the United States, are being threatened by
this detrimental practice.
-
Protection of our farms and our farmland. We
must protect the production rights of our farmers without adding
regulation after regulation. Farming is this district's number
one occupation. We must never forget the
importance of our farmers, and the sanctity of the land upon
which they dwell.
-
Alternative fuels must be a priority as well. We
must focus more attention on biodiesel and ethanol availability
at all gas stations to help the ever growing concerns over gas
prices and shortages.
